Some people emphasize the flare when they dance. I don't. I prefer the technique and watching over the person i am dancing with.

I admit that i am not an interesting person to watch when i dance in Union Sq. The same moves most of the time. No fanciful stuff. No complicated turn patterns. Nope i don't these most of the time. It's like, i prefer we two look nice and gracious and stuff. Not just i look impressive.

I want people to appreciate me. To feel safe dancing with me. If you have been to Union Sq dance floor you know what i mean. If you don't, ask Mrs Chongky.

Go watch "Take the Lead".

It's funny, even though you might find it difficult at times to catch the spanish or black accent. It's based on a true story of Pierre Dulaine, who initiated the dance school programme in NY public school and now it's spreading across the public schools in the city. It's meaningful.

"What i teach has value"... the phrase that struck me so hard in my head during the movie.

Suddenly i realised there are so much more to dancing, then just teaching the moves and performing an entertaining or technically difficult piece.

I have nothing to do. Totally nothing. Ok maybe other than dance stuff on some of the evenings. But other than that, i have to squeeze my brain to come out with something.

And then i just realised the Hong Leong internship starts next week. So that means i might get it, if i get a call this week.

Other than that, the only other highlight of the week is So You Think You Can Dance on Channel 5, Mondays, 7.30pm.

I feel like BURNING THE DANCEFLOOR NOW WITH MY FOOTWORK.

Yupz i just went to watch Burn the Floor. It's an excellent dance production featuring ballroom and latin dances. The dancers had won top dancing competitions of various kind before they join the production. So you can imagine the standard they dance at.

Anyway i am very very impressed. The dancers are really good at their trade. And the guys, are fucking zhnged.

Man... how come ballroom and latin came up with such muscular dancers?!

I seriously need to go zhng my neh.

Dinner today was seafood at ECP. Expensive for a dinner, but i had so much crab that i am feeling rather crabby now. Mrs Chongky is having itchy skin.

And going by her standard, we are going on a date in a while. Haha...

What's the point of doing that? To retain some dignity? Or to retain some of the alpha male ego?

Speaking of alpha male, i realised that our modern society is still very most dominated by this species. Hunks are also chosen over non-hunks in social setting, and hunks certainty gets more media attention in the entertainment industry. Otherwise give me a good reason why the winner of the Star Idol is a hunk who can't act as well as the runner-up non-hunk?

Anyway, life is just an one-two punch. Screw it and head to the gym. But after i had post my words at the forum that i am mentoring.

For the first time, i managed to catch "So You Think You Can Dance". Inspirational. The comtemp jazz dancers are damn good. Lyrical jazz dancers are very impressive too.

THERE ARE SO MANY TALANTED AMERICANS ON THAT SHOW!!!!

Just had an interview. Then they told me this is a first round held by the school to screen the applicants. -_-"

For a moment i thought i was pretty good to secure an interview with the bank.

Had a tiring day. Slept this morning at 7am. Woke up late in the noon. Drove to Thomson for pizza (WHEEEE!). Went to fetch the kids up. Came to sch. Waited to chase people out. Tried to revise FA. Fetch the kids back. Fed the kids. Drove back to school. Attempting to revise FA again.

At the end of the week, i still prefer the routine at the beginning of the week. Sleep at 11 plus. Wake up at 6am. Wash up go sch and study.

It's weird that i was never a morning person, yet i am starting to appreciate this no late nights routine.

But i have always enjoyed studying in school with Meanie Mouse jie jie, Ah Lian jie jie, Boh Liao Jon and of course Mrs Chongky.

Alright time to hit the book once again.

Because of Minsy, now i start to take notice of Superband.

This Minsy she is damn professional. I think other than Singapore Idol and Campus Superstar, she has friends in every competitions and she is quite serious about supporting her friends.

First is Niu Nai, former member of Energy (i think it's defunct now). He's quite a talented dancer. And can tell he has true dance technique, not only hip hop.



And G-force which consists of 3 guys from SAF Muscial Drama Company impressed me with their vocal and stage presence. And of course you can really tell they are indeed trained to perform on stage. I mean some other group can't really perform or sing.



Soul is pretty good too. Appears to be like 5566. That sort of singing and dancing boyband.



While one of the rock band wannabes sang Sun Wo Kong on the show. But i decided there is nothing great with the performance or the band and decided to put the original clip up instead. Simply because i like this song.



Damn. Still wish that i can join my buddies at KM8 tomorrow. If only i have the spare cash, and the time.

Fuck. I just dropped marks stupidly in AS. Again. This kind of stupid things just happen all the time.

And the only reason i could offer is i didn't work hard enough.

Angry with myself.

This is not a relevant or logical post. Do not read on expecting me to be very logical immediately after AS paper. (AS is sort of an intro to logic).

I just went came over to my GSR. Horrors horrors. Only one table. Not so bad. Went back to the GSR we were in yesterday, and saw all the rectangle tables still there. The room is occupied, so i knocked and went in. The guy started packing up immediately and i was like, "no i didn't book the room". So apologetic for interrupting the guy who just need a room to revise before his paper in a couple more hours.

So i asked for permission and took out two tables, and later interrupt again to take the comfy chair.

Woo hoo! Now i have a nice chair. Can sleep on it... when i need a break of course.

I must have a friendly look today. The guy who was in the GSR offered to help me with the tables. Though i declined, he helped me to clear the chairs and hold the door. See, who says i'm not nice. Just because i'm not accepting of losers doesn't make me a hostile fuck.

Speaking of loser, he was sitting right across me in the SR during the paper. Funny thing is he no longer comes up to me and make small talks. Muahahaha...

The nick is obvious and it has been there since forever. I'm sure he must have got the message by now. Oh wait, i forgot to use my fiercest display picture!

Haha screw it man.

Take another one after the summer holiday. Since now i didn't get my bids for summer courses and it is an unknowned whether my internship application will be accepted (though i suspect most likely i will get one), i might as well make plans to start training again.

Did you read the Sunday Times yesterday?

One full page was dedicated to the 7 hunks of Singapore Sevens Rugby Tourament. Check out the Singaporean hunk.

Er.... ok i am actually talking about the Australian one.

Singaporean hunk - asian with goatee, long hair brushed back in wet look, topless, spilling fats and round tire around waist, hpp bone not visible, neh neh looks soft.

Australian hunk - ang mo with fucking toned body, crew cut neat look, solid neh neh and abs and arms, hip bone is sticking out, and the cut below the hip bone is damn strong.

Rest of hunk - generally must toner than Singaporean hunk, with solid neh nehs and abs, including the Japanese hunk.

The reporter is fucking stupid. Pick a better looking Singapore hunk to feature lah. You ask someone like that to be photoed and publish on National newspaper, of course i won't be so surprised after i read the defeat of Singapore team in all matches. So flab how to be full back. I think someone with the same mass but better muscle tone comes charging there's no way our Singapore backs and take him down. Or even catch up with him after he side steped away.

Perhaps i'm also the same kind of pragmatic person. Vera Wang and 5 star hotels are so meaningless. Maybe it is to the richer you, but to me, it doesn't.

My mother never had her honeymoon (i think). And (i think) it bothers her. That's why she always tell me (die-die) must hold my wedding dinner at a cheap place and best if don't hold it at all.

Then use all that money for honeymoon.

I think that's smart. What's the point of making everything grand at a big ballroom with flowers all around? At the end of the day people will only remember the event as Chongky's wedding at XXX hotel and nothing more because they have attended so many weddings. If the service is poor, CONGRATS! Why bother spending so much money at Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa to make things special? Perhaps, only perhaps, they will also remember the video of vow exchange by the sea side in the sea breeze and the MESSY HAIR of the bridge and groom.

I can still remember the details of weddings i was invited to, because i had only attended 4. But i am sure as i go to more wedding, it's gonna be like remembering what you ate for Kopitiam everyday. Basically nothing much except than what's nice and what's not nice. Not what the mee pok auntie wore last friday or the hairstyle of the chee koh chicken rice man.

Now that i had done a bit more revision on stats, eaten lunch, neearly freeze to my own death in the stupid gsr, i started to think about what my brother said.

He has a point. We all need to SAVE.

With my savings, i estimate that i won't have problem with money until the end of the year if i cut down on spending. No supper. No fastfood. No Kenny Rogers. No holiday. No shopping.

Well that's not such a big standown comparing to my brother. A man in his youth but has to put off his grand plans - driving lessons, diving lessons, overseas holiday. I am more fortunate. At least i had my driving license, went through all the basic courses that i set out to do when i was at his age. Went to a couple of overseas destinations for holiday too.

FUCKING SHIT I CAN DO MORE FOR MY FAMILY.

If i don't take any more money from home, i won't have problem for most optimistically one year.

But what happens after this year? I still have figure out the plan for another one and half year.

From today on, i am not going supper anymore. Lunch/dinner will only be in school. And i won't be buying myself or anyone drinks anymore.

I rather i starve than take one more cent from home.

There is always a way. Perhaps i can study harder, and apply for all the scholarship/bursary that i can qualify. Perhaps i can be lucky again, just like how i was in sec sch. Perhaps i can get one scholarship every year and my financial problem will be solved.

Perhaps i can restore my bro's internet connection at home so he can still blog and stuff when he comes home.

Why the happy ending this time comes after so many perhaps?

Not as if these works are going to help us pass our exams. They are just interfering with our study schedule.

Don't really know what to blog about. Only feel the intense desire to holler something out to everyone.

There's someone who really pisses me off in sch. But being a responsible netizen i initially did not want to talk about it and fame the person. The recent turn of event had set me on fire.

"Don't fear me, fear the consequences"

Saw this line when i was entertaining myself with videos from youtube in the midst of mugging for exams. I like it. The macho-ness in one single line.

This guy here, let's go him wz. Earlier this term when i met him at concourse i stopped to talk to him. And throughout that few minutes conversation he stared at Mrs Chongky. I thought ok, you're a loser and i shall not flare up over it. And the fucker continued his stare-at-Mrs-Chongky antics till now.

I don't really like to talk to losers. But the funny thing is this fucker here likes to make small talk, even though my response to his talk is hardly positive (read: sian). Hello! Isn't it obvious i don't like you?

And last week, the main CBD had a family dinner. All member from the teams are invited. While the HR manager had explicitly told him that he is NOT INVITED when he PESTERED her about it, he had the bloody cheek to turn up. And fucking ate 3 rounds, when all our members, seeing the under cater situation by the sponsor, ate only one.

FUCKING HELL THIS DINNER IS MEANT TO THANK THE MEMBERS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS, NOT FEED HUNGRY PATHETIC LOSERS WHO CAN'T AFFORD DINNER IN SCH.

Well when questioned about his attendence, his reply was "your priz invited me". EH BIG FUCK AH YOU THINK THE WHOLE WORLD DOESN'T KNOW HE DIDN'T!!!

And how pathetic that answer was, quoting someone to push people down.

I really don't like to talk about htis incident, but i can't take it.

I heard from reliable source that he asked people not to join the wb clinic he is organising on behalf of his club when interested people turned up at this booth. I suspect he thought it's cool for him to talk like this to people. NOT FUNNY ALRIGHT. YOU ARE BLOODY NOT FUNNY YOU PATHETIC SUCKER.

Furthermore when he didn't get the support from the club people to man the booth, he scheduled people for duty. HEY RESPECT PEOPLE CAN. IF YOU THINK YOU BIG FUCK CAN STARE AT PEOPLE'S GIRLFRIEND UNDER THEIR NOSE, YOU CAN ORDER PEOPLE AROUND TOO, EVEN WHEN YOU CÄN'T WAKEBOARD FOR NUTS.

Well, and the most loserish thing he does, was to impress this pretty girl from his OG by buying everyone desert at OG dinner. Hey that's pretty zai. But fucking whining about the $50 he paid for it the whole of next day to everyone in the OG isn't zai at all.

HEY WAKE UP YOUR FUCKING IDEA NO MONEY DON'T GO AROUND IMPRESSING PEOPLE.

Then today Mrs Chongky offered to treat me dinner. I was so happy. The Kenny Rogers quarter chicky meal must be the best food i ate these days. Quarter chiz and macaroni and cheese and potato salad and snapply snapple.

Sigh. I don't know. Maybe it's the feeling that this probably the last time i am going to have nice good for a while. Or perhaps i was very hungry after a whole day of attempting to study.

Whatever it is, i appreciate the dinner so much.

I wondered what made me watch a movie when i am supposed to study.

Anywayz, last night watched Walk the Line after attending Vivian's bday party.

Great show, great story line and great singer.

Way better than lack of content Ice Age 2. The only good thing IA2 offer is humour.

Alright time for me to hit the books again. The damn school don't know why so cold. Talking about efficiency huh.

I was quite touched by this korean movie My Sassy Girl. I guess that explains why my hp ringtone is Pachelbel's Canon in D.

This morning while i was driving to sch, i saw a tp by the side of the road with a camera and busy scibbling.

And Mrs Chongky berated me later along the way that i was driving recklessly.

I wasn't wah. And while i explain to her why i should brake faster initially so the car can come to a gentle stop, i was being defensive and guilty of speaking loudly.

Man... what a lousy day.
